Sarah Kuhn is part of The Tempest’s 40 Women to Watch 2019, which spotlights extraordinary women and femmes making waves in their industries or passions of choice.
Sarah Kuhn is the author of Heroine Complex novels, a series following the adventures of Evie Taneka, as she learns how to be a Superhero and manage her powers. Recognizing the importance of creating diverse representation, Sarah creates a world full of fun adventure while delving into the complex intricacies of female relationships.
2019 will be a busy year for Sarah as she releases her highly anticipated YA debut, a Japan-set romantic comedy I Love You So Mochi. Her novella, One Con Glory is currently in development as a feature film and she is also working on a Batgirl graphic novel for D.C comics.
Sarah is a strong advocate for geek girl culture, and is also a fan of Sailor Moon Cosplay. In 2011, she was selected as a finalist for the CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) New Writers Award.
