40 Women to Watch 2019: Harnidh Kaur is publishing heart-wrenchingly powerful poetry with a purpose
Harnidh Kaur is part of The Tempest’s 40 Women to Watch 2019, which spotlights extraordinary women and femmes making waves in their industries or passions of choice.
Harnidh Kaur is a poet, columnist for The Print, author, community organizer, activist, and proud feminist. She works with Dasra, an Indian organization devoted to promoting nonprofits and philanthropy, as an analyst on the Urban Sanitization team.
In 2016, she published her first book The Inability of Words. In 2017, she continued to share her writing when she published The Ease of Forgetting. She was also the only Indian woman representative and ambassador at the G(irls)20 Summit this year, a summit that aims to unite experts across the globe to discuss social issues that impact women.
