Benya Kraus

Benya Kraus is a student at Tufts University majoring in International Relations. She grew up in both Bangkok and New Jersey to a Thai-American family, and finds comfort in Thai street food and Minnesotan-grown corn on the cob. Her passions run along multiple paths -- international security, women's empowerment, law, and politics -- but are centered on a commitment to celebrate identities, bridge communities, and demand justice. She currently interns for Dr. Alaa Murabit with The Voice of Libyan Women, serves as the Diversity & Community Affairs Officer on the Tufts University student senate, and works as the Massachusetts State Legislative Coordinator for Amnesty International USA.
