A woman’s life should not be sacrificial in order to be valued.

Don’t worry about dying alone, or pressure from parents, aunties, and friends to find a boyfriend or husband.
For a while, I decided to play the meek, quiet Muslim woman at work, concentrating on my workload and keeping my ideas to myself.
I personally refuse to condemn these acts of violence and not because I agree with them.
I am angry because as a Muslim woman the hijab is not the only thing that encompasses my faith.
