These are amazing responses to hateful #StopIslam tweets after the Brussels tragedy

How is it now normal for all Muslims and Islam to get hate after every terrorist attack?

Two explosions rocked Zaventem airport in Brussels during the morning rush hour today while another blasted through a downtown metro station nearly an hour later. The attacks have been confirmed as acts of terrorism, with Isis claiming responsibility. At the moment, at least 34 have been reported dead.

As news coverage provides more details on what has happened, a hashtag, #STOPISLAM, has taken Twitter by storm – a social media response which may be shocking to some – but all too familiar to others.

However, as the hashtag went viral, many used it to respond in defense of Islam.
