Cosmo, you messed up BIG TIME
'Dead looks' my FOOT.

Cosmopolitan is under fire. Recently, the holy grail for fashion tips is receiving backlash for using black models for beauty trends that “need to die” and white models for trends that are “gorgeous.” Their ‘beauty-focused trends’ feature compared old, ‘dead’ looks with fresh and ‘gorgeous’ new ones — and used only white models to showcase the on-trend fashions, while the only women of color featured were all said to be off-trend.
Of course, people took to protest on Twitter, because many felt a bias against women of color.
this is blatant racism. stop letting random white women submit articles and get a real staff @Cosmopolitan pic.twitter.com/SCCe4t65QE

Frankly, that’s just stupid. Pretending to live in a world where one race is superior is straight-up offensive. I don’t care what level you think you are — that is never okay.
So for that, here are four beauty trends in 2015 that I hope are here to stay:
1. Bold lip color:
2. Winged eyeliner:
3. Big hair #TeamNatural:
Simplicity. “Gorgeous:”
4. Solid colors:
Yellow, yellow, yellow:
GORGEOUS:
Now, a Cosmo editor issued a note.
It read:
